I have taken a slow down with writing here because if I have a free moment, my hands grab needles instead of this computer. In fact, I love the days when I don't even go near this laptop at all. I love them.
Instead of typing, I am knitting. As much as I possibly can. I am learning, trying, trying again, and having so much fun. So many elements of knitting are resonating with so many parts of my heart right now. I feel like me, needles, and some soft yarn are a glorious trinity.
How grateful I am that my dear friend, Emily, took a few moments several years ago to teach me! What a fantastic gift she gave! I never could have guessed how much love I would have for playing with yarn, but man, I have a lot.
I love how you are always with me, clean and tidy, easily interrupted, quiet oh so very quiet, soft, warm, beautiful, useable, giftable!!!, pleasant, quiet (did I already say that?), rhythmic, completeable, fun, social, and available.
Knitting, you are a real peach.
